With all this 90's-tasticness, I just couldn't forget about Mr. Jacobs. Thank you Marc for giving us a little nerdy grunge for Fall 2010.

Success

Happy International No Diet Day

So, I was planning my outfit for tomorrow. (I'm a planner. I plan everything. I even plan when I plan things. True story.) Anyway, I had pulled together my new long slinky rose colored ruffled vest, a white spaghetti tank with creme crochet detailing on the front, and rolled up destroyed boyfriend jeans. The slinky slouchy combo was delightful but needed some neutral high wedges to finish the look off. However....I do not currently own these said neutral wedges. My brown gladiators just made the outfit feel stumpy and that simply will not do. So, tomorrow I will be venturing off to DSW before my 12:00 class on a magical quest to find these perfect wedges.

I like to be able to validate purchases/ridiculous self-spoiling. So, tomorrow at 10am when I am at the doors of DSW, I will be celebrating "International No Diet Day." Yes, I just googled holidays for May, 6th 2010. Who knew such a wondiferous holiday existed? I don't know about you, but I definitely plan on celebrating. New wedges and fried chicken, here I come!!

At Least My Procrastination is Productive

So, I finally decided to get myself a blog. I've been meaning to create one but have been putting it off. Fortunately, my procrastination of blogging came to a halt when my procrastination of studying took over.

I have journals and journals teeming with upcoming/current fashions I'm in love with, artists and designers I like, books I want to read etc. A blog just seems like a much cleaner and less cluttering way of organizing these thoughts. However, whether in journal, post-it, or Mac, my thoughts are rarely organized.

Oh! I'm Lauren by the way. :)
